When I first saw this image from Oscar de la Renta’s RTW Fall 2013 show I nearly fell over. The colors, the patterns, those lips! It was like I slipped into some color/beauty induced coma that I never wanted to wake up from! I never knew I could love peach and red and cobalt blue all together as much as I do. But then I went on a hunt to see what else I could find and just when I thought it couldn’t get any better I found those figs! I clearly need to style my meals more because I’ve really been lacking in this area. And then there are those walls with those curtains! How much fun would it be to sip a peach bellini in that room!? Have you come across any other images with these colors? If so let me know! And until next time – eat, breathe and live colorfully!

Just because it’s not December 31 doesn’t mean there isn’t a reason to celebrate! So go pop some bubbly and enjoy! Happy Weekend!

I thought I was on a fruit and vegetable kick, but perhaps it’s more like a melon kick. Today it’s cantaloupe. Refreshing, bright (yet not too bright!) and cheerful – that pretty much sums up cantaloupe to me. And speaking of cheerful, that ModCloth dress is called “Cantaloupe Be Without You.” I’m pretty sure I need to buy it for the name alone, but it certainly doesn’t hurt that it’s cute. Are you feeling melon inspired these days? Which one is your favorite?
I’m a color lover, it’s true. But I’m not going to lie to you – Peach was never a color I paid any attention to. It always seemed to0 prim and proper, like it should be hanging out with avocado in the 1950s. This was how I felt until I spotted the super amazing peach hair streaks at the Peter Som show. Suddenly peach has my attention and It’s all I can think about! I really want those peach hair streaks! It’s like out of nowhere peach has become cool – it’s 21st century cool, and I’m ready to give it a try. What do you think are you keen on peach?
